What is Covidence?

Covidence is a screening and data extraction tool used for teams conducting systematic reviews. Covidence helps teams to work efficiently and easily track their work. Covidence is available to Weill Cornell Medicine - Qatar students, staff, and faculty. 

Covidence can:

  • Import citations from a variety of sources and formats using many bibliographic managements tools, such as EndNote, Zotero, Mendeley, etc. 
  • Screen titles/abstracts and full text easily and keep track of activity between team members.
  • Allows team members to work independently. 
  • Provide important review measures, such as risk of bias, PRISMA flow diagram and others.

Who can use Covidence?
Covidence is available to anyone conducting reviews within the WCMQ community. However, the review principal investigator must be a faculty member based at the main Doha WCMQ campus. 

I am WCMQ user and I want to use Covidence, what do I need to do to get a review account?
To get a review account, simply complete the review request form and a member of the library staff will contact you with the appropriate details for getting started. 

Does Covidence cost anything for WCMQ users?
No. Covidence is provided by the Health Science Library to WCMQ users free of cost .

I don’t really know how to use Covidence, can you show me and my team how to use it?
Yes. When a member of the library staff reaches out to you, just let them know that you would like a session on how to use Covidence.
