Health Records in Europe - The European Health Data Space: Opportunities & Challenges
Europe has had a long experience in electronic medical records, including the exchange of medical records, even between EU member states. The most recent exciting development in this sector in this region is the European Health Data Space, which would not only facilitate the exchange of health records between Member States, but even provide a safe environment for secondary analysis of existing data, with a view to improving delivery of health care.
